Srinagar, Feb 11 (KNO): In a continued crackdown on drug menace, J&K Police in Pulwama have arrested a drug peddler and recovered Psychotropic substance from his possession.
According to a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a police party of Police Station Rajpora, during routine patrolling duty at Hanjan Balla, intercepted a suspicious individual identified a Javid Ahmad Dar, son of Gh. Mohd Dar, resident of Rajpora. During his personal search, psychotropic substances (Petril (03½ strips), Anxit (01 strip), Tramadol (24½ strips), Pregabalin (06½ strips) and Rexcof (04 bottles) were recovered from his possession. The contraband Substance was seized on the spot and the accused was arrested. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 10/2026 has been registered at Police Station Rajpora and investigation has been initiated.
